ChronoPod provides personalized AI audio briefs. This policy describes the data we expect to collect and how it is used.

Information We Collect

ChronoPod stores account identifiers, email-derived authentication state from Supabase Auth, selected topics, brief schedules, generated brief metadata, transcripts, audio URLs, source links, and push notification subscriptions if you enable notifications.

How We Use Information

We use your data to authenticate you, generate relevant briefs, show your brief history, store source links, and notify you when a brief is ready. ChronoPod does not include payments, advertising, autonomous source discovery, or analytics.

AI Processing

When real AI mode is enabled, recent article content and schedule context may be sent to the configured AI provider to generate a script and TTS audio. Secrets, API keys, and service-role credentials must never be sent to the browser or included in generated content.

Push Notifications

If you opt in, ChronoPod stores your browser push subscription so the API can send a brief-ready notification. You can disable notifications in your browser or app settings.

Data Retention

ChronoPod keeps schedules, briefs, transcripts, audio references, and source links so users can review their history. Production retention and deletion workflows should be finalized before a broader public launch.
